2nd Annual “The Taste of the Vine”

Many thanks to all those in attendance at the gala held at the Lake Arrowhead Clubhouse on April 21.  Over 250 people shared in wine tasting, scrumptious appetizers, and the congenial company of fellow wine aficionados.  At the latest count, over $7000 has been raised for the Lester Public Library of Rome building expansion. A great deal of thanks to the major benefactors of this affair: Lake Arrowhead, Riverview Family Clinic, Solarus, Lake Country Snapshots, Signature Hair and Nail Studio, Mid-Towne Dental Associates, and the Nekoosa Port Edwards State Bank.  Deep appreciation to many other supporters who donated baskets and volunteers whose hard work made this event a special success!

Book Sale will run through the summer.  Friends of the Library have organized the sale and will have good used hardcover, paperback books and videos for adults and children available during library hours of operation.  Excellent deals can be found on Retired Books & Good Used Videos.
