The Romemakers, HCE club is a Home and Community Education group that focuses on service in the community and educational programs. Recently, we had a Highway Clean-up and picked up 13 bags of garbage along Hwy. 13. We hope you all get a litter bag for your car, and use it regularly. On June 4^th, we sponsored a “Meet your Town Board Members” breakfast at the Town Hall. We had a brat fry to raise funds for our library, and helped with the Library Fun Walk on June 23 by serving the food. We are hoping to have enough participation to walk in Rome’s first parade on July 14^th. We are working on two educational demonstration booths at the Adams County Fair in August. One is on Rain Gardens, and the other is on Gypsy Moths. Look for them if you go to the fair.

    The Romemakers meet monthly at Woodland Lutheran Church on the 2^nd Thurs. of the month at 9:30 a.m.  In August we will meet at the Alexander House because of Vacation Bible School at the church. If you wish to have more information on our group, please call Jeanne at 325-6244.
