Saturday Hours Extended!

The library has expanded the Saturday hours to meet the needs of our weekend customers.  Please note the hours are 9 am to 2 pm.

Retired Book Sale

Friends of the Library are holding the annual used books sale.  They have good used hardcover and paperback books for adults and children.  Visit the books sale during normal business hours.  Hardcover books are $1; pocketbook novels 1 bag for $5; videos $1 and children’s books $.25 - $.50. 

Paws, Claws, Scales and Tales!

Registration for the Summer Library Program begins on June 20, 2006 at our first performance and any Tuesday until Aug. 2.  Children may arrive at 2:00 p.m. to register for prizes and participation in weekly contests.  This year our programs will feature live animals and guessing contests from which winners are chosen every week.  Don’t miss a single week!

SPECIAL PROGRAMS

All programs are free of charge and are held at the Rome Municipal Building, which is located

at 1156 Alpine Dr., Nekoosa, WI (1 mile north of the library).  All programs begin at 2:00 p.m.

Tuesday, July 11 –2:00 pm – “Flying Colors,” Juggler Extraordinaire Mr. Tricks

Tuesday, July 18 – 2:00 pm – “Rabbitcadabera,” Magician Rick Allen

Tuesday, July 25 – 2:00 pm – “Stories –n- Flight,” Wendtworks, Brad & Whamo the dog

Tuesday, August 1 – 2:00 pm – Awards, Food and Fun

All preschoolers must be with an adult.  All programs are 60 - 75 minutes in length.
