Lake Camelot Reminders!

Although most of our LCPOA members are aware of this information, we always have a turnover in ownership, and new owners and/or guests may need reminders.  These are offered in the interest of fostering sound neighborhood relations and a deeper appreciation of our surroundings.

Beach Clubs

No Pets may run loose on Beach Clubs at any time.

All Beach Clubs are private property. All offshore property owners have been deeded an undivided fractional interest in a particular outlot that has lake access. The owners of the property assigned to this area by deed are the only ones, plus their guests, who may use it. All others are trespassing.

All owners are required to have an LCPOA ID sticker on any watercraft pulled up to a Beach Club when watercraft are tied to stakes or anchors, the rope is to be no longer than 5 feet long for safety reasons. Watercraft cannot be tied to any pier, fence or tree at a Beach Club.

Only property owner registered watercraft may be left at their beach club overnight.

GREEN AREAS

Outlots/Greenways  (forested area between properties and in the Walden Area this includes the area between property lines and the water’s edge)

No types of motorized vehicles, including ATVs, and lawn mowers are  permitted in any greenway.

No cutting, brushing or mowing of trees or under-  brush is permitted in any greenway. Trees must be left untouched in their natural state except with FIREWISE Program permit. Any disturbance of these areas may result in the guilty party being required to replant and repair damage.

Waterfront Properties

Waterfront/on-shore property owners own their property down to the water’s edge. Using piers and the shoreline for fishing, shortcutting between properties or strolling without the owner’s permission is considered trespassing.

Boat Launch Areas

Because of limited space, be careful not to block    access to the ramps or exit areas when parking. Please remind all guests to do the same. Identification is mandatory at the ramps. Property owners should have LCPOA ID stickers on all of their launch vehicles, trailers, and watercraft. Guests must use the member’s valid card. If the guest’s vehicle is parked at the ramp, the card should be left on the dash with the sticker side up so as not to be reported to the police as a trespasser

Lodge and Grounds

    All pets must be leashed.

All personal garbage must be taken to the Rome Recycle site and not left in the receptacles on the grounds. We do not have garbage pick-up and our receptacles are only to be used for lodge functions. Please emphasize this to all of your visitors.

Burning permits are available at the lodge during business hours. They are needed for everything except campfires. Burning is allowed from 6p.m. - Midnight. There is no charge for a permit but a hefty fine from the DNR is in place for NOT having one.

OWNERSHIP AND ADDRESS CHANGES

In trying to have accurate records and mailings to the correct property owner, changes in information are important to the Lake Camelot Property Owners Association (LCPOA). If you sell your property, please be sure YOU, the old property owner contact the LCPOA with the information. Town of Rome, Adams County or attorneys do not automatically notify us. If you move, please place the lodge on your list of those to be notified.
