Business Christmas Tree Decorating Contest in the Business Park. Tree decorating begins Nov. 18, and must be completed by Nov. 23 for viewing and judging by the public. A ballot box will be located in the business park for your convenience. Winner will be announced at the Tree Lighting on Sat. Dec. 2, at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall. There will also be a Holiday Homes Showcase. This is not a competition, but an opportunity to show off your home’s festive exterior. If you decorate the outside of your home and would like to be on the map for visitors to drive past, contact Wayne or Sally Spletter at 325-2580 by Nov. 16th. Maps will be available at the Rome Town Hall and area businesses.
